The Canon is the only annual lodged in university libraries, regulator briefing rooms, trustee desks and the founding cohort's offices simultaneously. The reference set this decade will be cited from.
Every operator entry passes through a published methodology, a Council ratification vote, and an operator response window before print. Dissent letters are reproduced in full in the back matter. Nothing in the Canon is paid placement; the wall between Patron tiers and editorial is enforced by the Council, not by the entity.
